The new album takes a couple of listens as all their albums do. Once you figure out what they're trying to do, then you can really get into the music! The best tracks are "People and their lives", "Dirty Pillow Talk" and "Nobody's Perfect". Seems like the best tracks in all their releases are right in the middle of the album.

ITUE is a solid release but it's their worst, by far.

Manipulator was by far their best, and the best album of 2007. In The Unlikely Event definitely isn't on that level, but it's a solid release.

I had a lot of hate for the new album at first. But it is a grower. I do miss the random crazy bits witnessed in the first couple of albums, but the new record is catcy as hell, and still really good musically

what's funny is that the 30 second samples they gave of each song were actually pretty cool, but I guess 30 good seconds aren't enough to make a 3-4 minute song solid
