musically, it has a sharper, rawer sound than Pornography and Robert refrains from leaping into angsty lyrical indulgence, which suits it, imo. Sheer perfection! It's right up there with Head on the Door and Dinsintegration. Took me forever to make out what the cover was, lol.

Wonderful album, but I think I prefer pornography from their first 4 LPs. They're different though - this is more gloomy, pornography is more sinister, almost violent. A forest is one of my favourite songs by them.
