The Birthday Massacre est un groupe de synth rock avec certaines influences métal, basé à Toronto, Canada. Le groupe s’est formé en 2000, connu à l’époque sous le nom de Imagica. Ils ont développé une musique atmosphérique très marquée et une imagerie fantastique et féerique s’appuyant notamment sur des atmosphères nocturnes et champêtres.

I'm glad that I wasn't one of the only one's that's ever noticed that Weekend ripoff... I figured they either didn't do on purpose, or didn't care... either way, Weekend is great. My favorite song is To Die For, primarily because of the great simple chorus... this band releases simply beautiful music!!
