The Birthday Massacre est un groupe de synth rock avec certaines influences métal, basé à Toronto, Canada. Le groupe s’est formé en 2000, connu à l’époque sous le nom de Imagica. Ils ont développé une musique atmosphérique très marquée et une imagerie fantastique et féerique s’appuyant notamment sur des atmosphères nocturnes et champêtres.

@HellsAngie I have a pretty broad scope, it's just that TBM is probably the only band of this genre (whatever it is), that I can listen to and I just love them... I would like there to be more of this type of music for me to enjoy, but I guess it's non-existing...

indeed, its easily my fave by these folks. didnt like the muddy sound of the early albums. they sound soo much better with a crunchier sounding guitar!
