I want a love that's right, right is only half of what's wrong
I want a short-haired girl who sometimes wears it twice as long
Now I'm stepping out this old brown shoe, baby, I'm in love with you
I'm so glad you came here it won't be the same now, I'm telling you

I've been listening to The Beatles for two thirds of my life, and they still amaze me every time. Take this song, for example. I mean, fuck me, this is massively awesome, right? And yet it's a (relatively) obscure b-side! And George was TWENTY-SIX when he wrote it! Blows my fucking mind!

George playing bass? Interesting. Never heard of that before, and since it's played so beautifully, it's hard to imagine it isn't Paul's fluid playing. Wiki says there's "controversy over whether Harrison played bass". Perhaps George thinks McCartney simply followed his lead playing, in which case, perhaps they both played 'bass'? Anyway, great track.

@DavidSmith98: Why do you attribute the bass to George? According to 'Revolution in the Head' (a pretty reliable document of the Beatles' output), Paul is on bass...as he usually is.

George Harrison came into his own right near the end of the Beatles' tenure... but wow, when he did, what masterpieces he produced!!

This might be my favorite overall Beatles song. I find it hard to believe too, but it's just too good.

Also the anthology version is definitely not as good as the official, because without ringo its just not the same.
