It doesn't sound like most of the Beach Boys, but it's in keeping with the style of the rest of the album. 'Make It Good' is probably more of a departure.

I don't get the oft repeated criticism of So Tuff that Dear Brother and Here She Comes aren't true BB songs, or don't fit in. They're both very nice.

Not knocking Blondie - his vocal is awesome - but the song would have more meaning/emotional punch if one of the brothers had sung it.

I wish Blondie and Ricky wrote more songs for the Beach Boys. They're all soooooooo good.

This was the time of California country folk - CSNY and Grateful Dead. And this track is up there with the best of them! Makes me think of Brian holed up in his room.

It's like Traffic meets The Beach Boys, this song and Here She Comes. Fataar and Chaplin never really fit in. But it's nice music.

This was the second Fataar/Chaplin penned recording, and it again sounds very little like the Beach Boys. As a song in itself, it's not bad at all though. It's very folky and country-like not far different from the Band again. The genre isn't my biggest style but I can enjoy the track. 3.5/5
