I really like this album; it is different from their earlier work. It features ample great timeless songs. I am especially fond of the way it ends with, Begin Again From The Beginning & Act V, Scene IV: And So It Ends Like It Begins. Also When All Else Fails It Fails is one of my favourite song titles ever.

I love this sort of music, but I'm not sure Ataris did it so well, but I definitely respect them for trying something different.

i just love this dark melancholic vibe of the album. although i still like their older stuff too i've never been much of a fan of fast-paced punk rock where almost every song sounds the same...this album was like a breath of fresh air the first time i listened to it

They said the next album is gonna be closer to their pop punk roots. It's a shame, because I appreciate the new style for what it is. I hope they keep doing what Brand New did and mature WITH their core audience, instead how Taking Back Sunday keeps churning out generic albums aimed at teenagers.

This album is very different than their other stuff... The change is daunting at times. I think this is the most drastic change a band has made without becoming drastically better or worse (just "different") that I listen to. This was probably one of my top 5 2007 albums, too.

The Ataris grew up. It was only a natural progression from what they were. I, for one, praise this new version of the Ataris.

not sure why so many people rubbish this album, it's fairly great... just.. mature ataris. similar to what blink did in a wayi guess? both old and new are awesome but for different reasons.
