Textures est un groupe de metal technique originaire des Pays-Bas, formé en 2001, et qui a à ce jour sorti trois albums. Textures joue une sorte de mathcore très rapprochée du « math metal » (et de groupes comme Meshuggah), en ajoutant quelques éléments de metalcore, death metal et thrash metal, avec une voix légèrement plus ‘hardcore’, comparément à d’autres groupes. Sur leur premier album, Polars, Textures s’est aussi bien inspiré des sonorités ambient, que l’on retrouve considérablement moins sur leur album Drawing Circles.
