Now, the Nas joint is epic in itself, the greatness of Illmatic goes without saying,
But the joint that really drew my attention to the above line was The swollen members ft Evidence "Dark clouds", with a Nas sampling of "too dark to see tomorrow " on the hook. The beat sets the perfect tone for the joint. I remember playing it in my car after the brutal murder of one of my colleagues. Was a Pretty Depressing time and the words "too dark to see tomorrow" just kept on playing in my head.

As i ponder on the above words, the brilliant poetry displayed by NAs on Illmatic begins to unfold.... and i can relate to them lines in a personal way, Cos when u got Dark clouds around ur head it clouds ur vision, when u carry it around u can see tomorrow ie u cant picture a beautiful tomorrow…
