All time favorite, wish i could find more stuff that sounds like this: so minimal, yet so hypnotic with its textures. Flawless repertoire as well, Frankie Teardrop is possibly the most disturbing song ever made, but the other songs are fantastic, such vibes, sometimes danceable and immersive, Chree is sooo good. Vega's vocals are something as well, somehow sensual, disturbing and peculiar in a really contrasting way.

that was a sickening, ear-splitting screaming slog that encapsulates those feelings of "wanting suicide", and the such, somewhat, giving that a 8.4/10; all 'round pretty good, and i would recommend it, 'specially that shining and defining frankie teardrop track

"This one's for you shits. It's called 'Dream'. That's all you got, you know? They want to put you away, in concentration camps, whatever. You don't know nothin' about that yet, hasn't hit you over here yet. Over here, over there, fuck, right? It's coming your way. Remember one thing, you got your dreams, right? They can't put that away..." From the "Ghost Riders" live album

So fucking out of its time. Somebody played this album for me and I was just floored when they told me it was from 19-fucking-77.

I love how cool and funky the first 5 tracks are before the bottom drops out and you fall into the pits of hell... [4]

Conventional rock 'n roll overlaid with the vicious throbbing of blood pumping in a madman's ears. Somehow our own...

Frankie Teardrop is, without a doubt, the creepiest song I have ever heard in my entire life. Alan Vega's screams send chills down my spine that never really seem to stop.
