probably the best Stereolab album [3] the production on this is PERFECT.

Like all stereolab albums this is good with some highlights...there isn't a definite stereolab album. They never made a masterpiece which in away is a credit to them and their consistency.

probably the best Stereolab album [2] I believe this at least 60% of the time.

They're both great, Chris. Two separate and extreme sides of Stereolab, both completely wonderful. Sorry you don't like the green album.

Can't find anything in any of there albums that calls to me more than another. All there music seems smooth, eclectic and experimentally safe....t7b

YES, THANK YOU. When I started working there, I assumed people might be interested in hearing new and different things. I wasn't playing any harsh noise records, just music that might step across the border every now and then. Nope, that might offend the grandmas who might stop in. Just say NO to new and different ideas.

that sounds like the worst record store ever.

This album is like a neutered dog. Its good but it lacks balls. [2] Kind of what I like about it. It's a very solid album without being too edgy. I work at a record store that since I started working there developed strict "no weird music" rules, I can get away with playing this one. There is nothing wrong with being accessible and good.

Maybe this is my favorite album from Stereolab. It's bring myself to the strange mechanical futuristic-surrealistic-psychedelic world of music from the past, but at the same time from the future... Agreed with Fury112 - 5/5 :) "Brakhage", "Ticker-Tape of the Unconscious", "Refractions in the Plastic Pulse" and "Contronatura" is amazing

@jbchervin - pffffftt . this is pretty experimental and propulsive music from the groop, a steady evolution in their sound. plus some absolute classics on here too. 5/5 for me
