I find the drums quite appealing.

IT'S HIPSTER BLACK METAL BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT FROM EUROPE AND THEY DON'T WEAR CORPSE PAINT AND THEY DON'T BURN CHURCHES OR MUTILATE PIGS ON STAGE. FUCKING HIPSTER BM. GOD DAMN I'M SO PISSED AT THESE FUCKING HIPSTERS.

Totally agree with BlackMana. Song is awesome, but drumming is sadly awful. What a waste.

Does anybody know the book from which the title was taken? I'm not sure if it was a book name, chapter or just a phrase but I'm 99% there are a fair few references to said book throughout Skagos' releases. As for MediaCult..you are retarded! Just because this band is from North America, does not make them hipster. There is nothing "Hip" about this band..they are simply playing heavily folk-influenced black metal in a pure and honest way...they let the music do the talking instead of relying on controversy and smug defiance to get noticed. Skagos' music focuses on relevant and pure subjects: nature and humanity's relationship with it...NOT on questionable abstract philosophical ramblings a la Liturgy or Deafheaven.

@ BlackMana: Those drums make it complete. It's of course your opinion and you're entitled to having one, but learn to appreciate ways of production different from the "average metal standard"..

For a song with the word "Drums" in the title, the production of the drums almost ruins this song. Sounds like he's playing trashcans. That being said, the song is still awesome.
