Wasn't it these guys that started the whole wall of death thing? cuz i have seen footage of an show of theirs back in the late 90's and they did it then. i was just wondering if anyone knew for sure

@ Volimsir, if you want, you can take anything serious you fucking want. It is just that, if you want to take late SOIA albums seriously, we just won't be able to take you seriously. @ Soulbleed: Cro-Mags did have a serious part in keeping hardcore alive. As did Agnostic Front at that time. But both cro-mags and (later) Agnostic Front were both using a lot of metal influences (just like a wave of metal bands were influenced by hardcore). Their sound was nothing like any of the original bands that were playing hardcore (except maybe for early AF). There was a reason for the youth crew hype at that time: going back to the fast and furious sound brought into the scene by Minor Threat (who were heavily influenced by Bad Brains). And Youth Of Today pioneered that hype. Old school is just not that simple of a tag. Do you know what tag i really despise? "Modern Hardcore" Who the fuck thought of that??
