An album of urban folk songs, midlands blues and rock with Eastern tinges and international appeal, featuring the hypnotic Dream Song
With a support slot on the Foo Fightersrecent acoustic tour and the BBC Electric Proms, it seems people have quickly caught onto the guy justifiably compared to Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley.

This is guaranteed to be an amazing gig filled with stirring music by an exceptionally talented musician

Support on the night is from Josh Pyke, an Australian who seems to have an uncanny knack for writing beautiful folk-rock. Armed with sweetly sensitive vocals and multi-layered arrangements Josh's skill at creating bittersweet…

The following in no way constitutes a recommendation of any of the songs played on tonight's Roundtable. That should become fairly self-evident.

Mind you, I am going to recommend a song in a little while – just not one from Roundtable – and if you're already a seasoned scrobbler of it, you win a much-coveted Absurdly Alliterative Friday Fetch-it Pre-emption Point™ (AAFFPP™). Hooray!

If Bono sang a Bon Jovi song it would sound much like You Know My Name. The title is quite optimistic.

Left Foot Stepdown will be used in an advert, probably for a Ford Fiesta, or maybe for a mobile phone company (most likely T-Mobile, I reckon). I don't suppose anyone would sit down to it to listen to it, or stand up to dance to it. Or care that it was playing. Didn't Karl from Neighbours write this?

Man Overboard starts as a plodding indie-rock waltz and about two-thirds of the way in becomes a ponderous indie-rock waltz. I usually like waltzes.

Faster Than a Dead Horse is completely indifferent. Don't even bother pondering its name.
