Rishloo est un groupe de hard rock progressif venant de Seattle. Le côté ovni de leur rock aventureux et la force tranquille du chant de Drew Mailloux nous rappellera très rapidement celle de Maynard James Keenan (Tool). D’un autre côté les passages mélodiques sauront nous remémorer un bon Old Dead Tree quand il le faudra. Rishloo n’est pas un simple « Tool-like », bien que très inspiré. On y trouve une certaine fraicheur et plus de sensibilité dans leur composition à défaut d’autant de performances techniques que leur modèle.

Loved Downhill, Scissorlips and Katsushika need more growing time so far. The latter reminds me of Fair to Midland a bit.

Not sure about Scissorlips. I loved Downhill, but Scissorlips seems to go on and on without a direction. Maybe it'll grow on me. I'm sure it'll sound good in context though, on the album.

Sometimes I think they sound more like A Perfect Circle than Tool. Really, it sounds like they are trying to sound like Tool, but the result reminds you more of APC. The interludes are very Tool-ish, but the songs have a more mainstream APC sound. - 100% agree. But I don't mind it cause I really love them:) can't wait for new song;)
