Reverend and the Makers est composé, comme son nom l’indique du « Reverend » Jon McClure et des Makers venu tout droit de Sheffield.
Mélangeant subtilement rock, electro, pop… ils savent faire danser.
Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys)les accompagne à la voix sur la chanson « The Machine » et à la guitare sur « Armchair Detective » tout comme Tim Hampton de Bromheads Jacket qui ajoute sa voix sur « Bandit ».
