agree with you below me, diversity is good, i think if a fan is truly hardcore then they'l like the band even more for covering a wider genra as oposed to being very specific and steriotypical to one.

We see hardcore fans of bands like Weezer and The Offspring get pissed off because the bands' sound changes so much, on the other hand, if Pennywise has a sound that works for them, and they are always playing it, they get criticized from everybody who'se not a hardcore fan....I'm not exactly a hardcore fan, I do love them, but I couldn't listen to them day in and out like I can the Offspring, just because the Offspring manage to be so diverse between their albums.
