I know everybody says that for all their albums, but I really think this is the one album they messed-up the most with b-sides and a-sides choices. Full On should have been sung by Liam and been one of the centrepieces of the album, along with Let's All Make Believe and Carry Us All. One Way Road should have closed the album and Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is should have been a b-side.

Little James isn't what's wrong with this album... in a nutshell: the up-tempos, though decent, are a bit by the numbers and feel like outtakes from a different record (Be Here Now). Meanwhile, the rumbling neo-psych songs, which dominate the album, are rather analogous and slightly lose their potency as a result. I think the album lacks diversity. It's potentially one track away from being excellent. Still a pretty enjoyable listen, though I wouldn't say it's CRIMINALLY underrated.

Standing in the Shoulder of Giants is easily the best Oasis album. Can't you guys just pretend that "Little James" doesn't exist?

It would have been perfect if instead of Little James had put Let's All Make Believe.

Of course not Oasis best album, but it has his moments. Even if it lacks the optimism and the great big rock-tunes of the first albums, it's still great and a good album overall. "Sunday Morning Call" is one of Noel's finest tunes.

@Rezzo64 I agree. One of the reasons why I dislike DM is that it has bad production in some parts. It also annoys me in WTSMG?.

Little James is the only misstep here, imo. Otherwise a mighty fine album.

This is the only Oasis album that has a good production on it
