i've listened to their new album and i think it sucks (except fot Wild Young Hearts), it lack attitude. After hearing this "thing" i listened to the new Screaming Females album (Power Move) and its all the new Noisettes album should have been.

I agree with the matey below, they've lost the edge that they had years ago...Same story that happened to The Gossip...Amazing blues ridden dirt rock, only to turn more disco and then suddenly hit the big time (hmmm strange that)... Shingai also didn't look happy on Jools Holland either, she used to thrash around with all the fire she could muster...Now it seems she's all about waltzing around the stage striking a pose every now and then... Shame, they really had something different, but I guess taming your shit down in order to hit the big time is tempting when you've been touring for years with not much to show for it... Still, I thought they seemed more for the music, than for the money... Oh and these are my thoughts, so feel free to slate them, but also...Jog on...

Their edge is gone, I really didn't expect them to go in such a tame & uninspired direction. Bah, humbug.

I'm sure most people think of the car ad everytime they hear "dont upset the ...." but which came first the ad or the song. Definitely hasn't done them any harm in getting them into the public eye. Saw their performance on Jools Holland Friday night and they are great Live band, first heard of them 3 years ago at a music festival in brighton... does this mean they are mainstream now???

nice cover of 'When You Were Young' tis true... but wtf is with "Don't Upset the Rhythm" i thought it was some kind of commercial dance record not the band that made Sister Rosetta and Don't Give Up. They were WEIRD AS HELL the first time I saw them as well, guess I need some more time than usual to adjust to the crazy stylistic changes of this band
