Nico Mulhly, né en 1981, est un compositeur et arrangeur américain. Licencié en Littérature et diplômé de la prestigieuse Juilliard School, il a travaillé étroitement sous la tutelle de Phillip Glass. Il a composé de nombreuses oeuvres, notamment des commandes de l’American Symphony Orchestra, le Juilliard Orchestra…
Sa musique, dans laquelle prime l’esthétique, se situe à la limite entre musique de tradition écrite et musique populaire.

Il a notamment collaboré avec Björk, Antony Hegarty ou encore Bonnie « Prince » Billy.
