Nargaroth est un groupe originaire de Saxe (Allemagne de l’Est). Le seul membre est « Kanwulf » qui emprunte un autre nom ces derniers temps. Ses connaissances l’appellent simplement « Ash » depuis quelques années, un surnom qu’il a obtenu dans le début des années 1990 par ses amis et sa famille, dut à son intérêt aux films « Evil Dead » (1981,1987,1993). « Kanwulf » est largement responsable de la musique et des lyrics(les paroles), mais a été aussi appuyé par des musiciens session. Parmi ceux là on peut citer Charoon, qu’il a rencontré en 1992 et qui a joué pour les prestations live de Nargaroth de 1998 à 2008 et aussi contribué en tant que guitare rythmique sur l’album « Herbstleyd » ainsi que sur l’album « Rasluka »; Akhenaten de « Judas Iscariot », Occulta Mors de « Moonblood » ainsi que L’hiver de « Winterblut ». Depuis avril 2008,Ash(voix),Marc(guitare),Unk(bass) et Erebor(batterie)forme le line-up actuel.

abgesehen davon, dass es musikalisch mit ausnahme von frühling nicht viel zu meckern gibt, kann ich ihn einfach nicht ernst nehmen...wie auch, beim hören sehe ich ihn ständig vor mir, wie er sich auf eigene tshirts einen von der palme schüttelt, währenddessen tonträger von seinen kumpelbands verbrennt und seine tausendfüßige krähe füttert...

From what I have gathered through the kids posting on this board is that incorporating some emotion or feeling into black metal is very un-tr00. And so, the elites flock to this page to express the how non kvlt Nargaroth is and blah blah... as a way of convincing themselves they are more tr00 and evil than everyone.

Anyone who's been really in love once, should know that. Jahreszeitenis a damn good album. I say, Jahreszeiten is love. In Jahreszeitenit's not about black metal. It's about damn love! Anyone who "wants to have black metal", was to hear Semper Fidelis. Or Geliebte des Regens....

Sucks ass, guitars are like from some ''happy birthday'' -song and drumsounds (especially bassdrum sound) are from fucking tekno! old nargaroth with raw sounds, and idea, and cruelty, are good.. but this fucking ''celebrating'' is fucking sucking ass..

The 5 minute blast beat in Winter is a bit much but the rest of the track is pure beauty. And the Prolog is just kinda of stupid. Otherwise a perfect album. Melancholic and heavy... Also one of my top 3 albums of this year
