Jusqu’à cette année. En 2009, les trois suédois de Miike Snow tentent de brouiller les cartes (météo) et apportent leur doudoune au Cap d’Agde. C’est à coup d’après-ski en moumoute vert-gluant que Miike Snow piétine les tubes d’écran total. C’en est fini du mauvais goût assumé qui fait chasser les nuages. Animal conjugue la dance tractopelle coutumière à la pop dameuse de Fool’s Garden, et la déprime de location s’invite dès le mois de juin. Le fantôme robotisé de Supertramp semble bien décidé à pourrir cet été, et les suivants. Il suffit d’écouter Burial pour avoir envie d’enterrer ces compatriotes d’Herman Düne sous une montagne de neige éternelle.
En la jouant bonhommes de neige au solstice d’été, Miike Snow fait regretter février dernier, lorsqu’on ne les connaissait pas encore. Si personne ne part en vacances cet été, ce ne sera pas à cause de la crise…

Ive seen them two times, first time at Popaganda, a Swedish indie-pop/electro/rock festival and Miike Snow were great! Outside with 4000+ people in the audience. Last friday I saw the same show as Virrree (indoor with a few hundred people), and i dont fully agree with him. To me they sounded/played good all the way ( even if they played a weird instrumental thing in the middle of the show, i didnt like that). I really enjoyed Plastic Jungle and In Search Of. All in all, Id recomend people to go watch them. But I have to say they were much better at the first concert I saw them at.

I have to agree with Virrree. Saw them in Munich some weeks ago, and was really disappointed. They can't transfer their musical genious to a live stage (yet). Overly loud, bad mixing, no contact to the audience at all.

The show in Gothenburg last friday wasn't good at all, they started of with 3-4 song that they played well, but then I don't know what happened, Animal sucked and in most songs you couldn't here Andrew:s voice at all for the way too loud bass and worst of all they finished it all of with a 10 minute instrumental thing that just sucked, a very loud bass line that the others didn't even follow and no extras or anything, two hours in the car back home felt like a lot more since I was so bummed :(
