This album is not only my favorite from Mercenary, but it's possibly the best metal album I've ever heard. It's been heard for them to match this quality since then, atleast to my ears. As stated already, a true masterpiece of heavy fucking metal.

Mercenary's best album. THTR is a close second, but this one is just more consistent and more memorable songs.

Yeah I can understand that. It's all a matter of personal preference really. It doesn't bother me too much though. But yeah, a lot of metal albums these days have the bass buried beneath the guitars. This one is definitely an exception.

The one thing that bugs me is that the bass is most prominent in World Hate Center, but kinda drops off afterward. Still, it's very high in the mix compared to the vast majority of metal albums, and I applaud that.

Flawless piece of work. I honestly can't find fault with it. Well, I COULD say that the Kent cover is a little... odd, but I'll blame that on the Swedes.

If I ever catch this Ziggy bastard who mastered the album, I'm gonna destroy his face. No wonder he hides behind an alias, otherwise people would be throwing molotov cocktails at his home. He managed to cripple one of my favorite albums (and THTR and Everblack too).
