One of their best songs. Amazing to think it wasn't included on The Holy Bible. That chorus is so damn powerful - sends shivers down my spine.

For me, this is the Manics at their best. Things started going a bit pear-shaped after this. The Holy Bible is a stunning legacy though.

As much as I love This Is My Truth etc, I wish they'd return to this sound.

I heard this song before on the holy bible reissue dvd and thought it was fucking brilliant. They really were great in their early days.

I love it (especially after studying Nietzsche), but can you please stop scorning albums like TIMTTMY and EMG? My favourite album is THB, but I really really really loved both TIMTTMY and EMG. No one can replace Richey and his poetic talent, but why should we despise the band just because they wanted to go on and because they had the nerve to change for good? I prefer MSP doing what they did, than bands like Oasis that sound exactly the same in all their albums

This and Sculpture of Man should've been included in the 10th anniversary edition of the bible.
