Lucky Soul britanniques sont une pièce de six indie pop band basé à Greenwich, au sud-est de Londres. Their influences range from Motown through to Saint Etienne . Leurs influences vont de Motown jusqu’à Saint Etienne. Formed towards the end of 2004, the band consists of Ali Howard on vocals, Andrew Laidlaw and Ivor Sims on guitars, Toby Fogell on bass, Malcolm Young on keyboards and Nathaniel L. Perkins on drums. Formé vers la fin de 2004, le groupe se compose d’Ali Howard sur les voix, Andrew Laidlaw et Ivor Sims à la guitare, Toby Fogell à la basse, Malcolm Young sur les claviers et Nathaniel L. Perkins à la batterie. Signed to their own label Ruffa Lane , they are illustrative of a growing, internet-enabled trend - notably practised by bands such as Enter Shikari and KOOPA - to self-release. Signé à leur propre label Ruffa Lane, ils sont une illustration de plus en plus, Internet a permis tendance - notamment pratiqué par des groupes tels que Entrez Shikari et Koopa - à l’auto-libération.
Debut single My Brittle Heart / Give Me Love , released in March 2006, put the band on the map when it was made ‘single of week’ by the Guardian newspaper and described as featuring « melodies as colossal, memorable and irresistible as a stampede of elephants bearing down on your tent ». Débuts unique Brittle Mon Coeur / Give Me Love, sorti en Mars 2006, mis le groupe sur la carte lorsqu’elle a été donnée unique de la semaine »par le journal The Guardian et décrit comme présentant » mélodies comme colossale, mémorable et irrésistible comme une ruée de éléphants portant sur la tente ». In June of that year they released another single, Lips are Unhappy . En Juin de cette année, ils ont sorti un autre single, les lèvres sont malheureux.
