Après avoir officié un peu plus de deux ans au sein du groupe Test Icicles (Punk Dance, UK), l’américain Dev Hynes (né à Houston), émigré en Angleterre avec sa famille sort en janvier 2008, ses oreilles calmées par tant de noisy sounds…Son premier album solo sous le doux nom de Lightspeed Champion, un disque aux sonorités folk-pop, voire à coloration country…Un retour aux sources en quelque sorte (il a grandi avec sa tante au Texas qui était une fan de la musique de cow-boys…)

ahh his voice sounds totally different after the op he had, and i didn't realize that when he said he had a higher vocal range, i didn't realize he meant quite that much! but still, Heavy Purple is pretty great.
