i like this "accumulation" and the build-up thing going on and then the outburst and then the calm and then chaos again and all the little percussion fidgety things around. this piece fucking rules.

Such a crushing track. Feels like every instrument is pulling in different directions but something in the center is holding it close.

I play this track before I go to sleep every night and every night without fail, I would find myself in a strange dream full of golden locks and a palace made up of orange boxes with thousands of green-eyed girls in it. There would ALWAYS be a semi-automatic riffle in the courtyard of the palace, which I would use to kill all of those living inside the palace. I don't know why.

Maybe my favorite song of theirs. First time I heard it I think I blew a socket in my brain, thanks to Bruford... somewhere in the middle of the track.

Lets figure out Fripps pattern of tonality. He just plays the same riff over and over raising it a half step at a time. You can turn mary had a little lamb into acid rock doing this simple composition trick. That being said the instrumentals especially the Cross violin solos and backing tracks are very creative as well as the percussion.
