ugyebár rohamosan közeleg a jövő heti As I Lay Dying koncert, én meg most úgy döntöttem hogy ez remek ürüggyel szolgál arra, hogy fölrakjam a két évvel ezelőtti Killswitch Engage-el közös hangversenyük kapcsán keletkezett beszámolómat, amit akkor valami rejtélyes oknál fogva elmulasztottam, fél évvel utána meg már teljesen pointless lett volna, de most végre ittvan, öveket becsatolni, indul az időgép:

ittjárt nálunk a killswitch engage meg az as i lay dying, vagyis pontosan nem itt hanem pesten a pecsában, de legalább eljöttek mo.-ig. el is határoztuk nzm komával meg a mátával hogy hát erre nekünk biza el kell menni, aztán így is tettünk. az odautat inkább nem részletezem (még a végén rendőrök kopogtatnának az ajtón... 0.o), a lényeg annyi hogy jó sok időhúzásnak meg egy kis eltévedésnek köszönhetően az a losing season-t sikeresen lekéstük. nagynagy bánatunkra, teszem hozzá... úgyse nagyon fogtak meg a májszpészes számok, a többiek meg abszolut nem is ismerték. …

Mon 8 Feb – Killswitch Engage, Dark Tranquillity, The Devil Wears Prada

Killswitch Engage is a band I've been following ever since I first got into extreme metal over 5 years ago. Even though my tastes have changed dramatically, I still enjoy listening to them. They were one of the first metalcore bands I got into. Anyways, on to the review.

First band of the evening was Dark Tranquillity, one of the pioneers of melodic death metal. They put on a kickass performance! However, the crowd absolutely SUCKED. That's because most of the people were there for The Devil Wears Prada & Killswitch Engage. Hell, one guy kept yelling obscenities at them in between songs. I seriously wanted to yell "SHUT UP!" at him, but I'm not the type of person to start shit with anybody. Anyways, I seriously think that Dark Tranquillity should have went before Killswitch Engage, not The Devil Wears Prada. Regardless, their set was really good. …

a Shadows Fall 2007-es Threads Of Life lemeze állítólagos erősen mainstream orientált mivolta folytán eléggé megosztotta a hallgatóságot, úgyhogy idén vagyis most már tavaly úgy döntöttek a srácok, ideje visszatérni a gyökerekhez, és kaptunk egy újabb art of balance / war within jellegű anyagot tele metallica és in flames ihletésű riffekkel és szólókkal meg jó sok kiabálással. még a koncertek setlistjéből is kidobálták az összes threads-es számot. a fő probléma ott leledzik, hogy nekem meg ponthogy az a kedvenc albumom tőlük... és hiába ír matt bachand meg jon donais még mindig eszeveszett szólókat…

The Welsh metalcore band, Bullet for My Valentine, hosted Australian music video show Rage last night. Had first heard their music from playing Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Song was Hand of Blood, pretty neat track. In my metalcore phase a few weeks back, decided to have a listen to their Hand of Blood EP and that too made for nice listening.
