KAMELOT est l’un des groupes de métal les plus prestigieux et influents de ces dernières années. La réputation du groupe parmi les fans et les media est marquée par l’enthousiasme autant que par l’estime, chacun de leurs huit albums studio ayant, jusqu’à présent, surpassé son prédécesseur en termes de composition, de production et de résultats commerciaux. Reconnu comme l’un des groupes les plus difficiles à catégoriser sur la scène métal, Kamelot livre à présent son album le plus poussé et le plus ambitieux à ce jour, « Poetry For The Poisoned ».

Thomas Youngblood et le batteur Richard Warner fondent Kamelot à Tampa (Floride) en 1992. En 1994, ils signent un contrat avec Noise Records et leur premier album, Eternity, sort en août l’année suivante. La presse voit aussitôt dans cet album le signe d’un début prometteur comme elle n’en avait pas vu depuis longtemps.

En 1996 sort l’album suivant, Dominion, un opus encore plus divers et varié que celui de leurs débuts.

Puis, en 1997, le batteur Richard Warner et le chanteur Mark Vanderbilt doivent être remplacés. Kamelot trouve alors plus que de simples substituts en Casey Grillo et en l’ancien membre de Conception, le chanteur Roy Khan, qui rejoignent le groupe durant la production du troisième album, Siége Perilous. Le nouveau line-up entreprend une tournée en Europe durant l’automne de la même année et retourne au Gate Studio de Worfsburg seulement douze mois plus tard pour produire son quatrième album, The Fourth Legacy.

    EdenEcho, Lunar Sanctum, Elizabeth, Once Upon A Time, Serenade and Three Ways to Epica with Karevik. I will always maintain that Kamelot's album closers are pretty much their best songs along with their ballads. Also, this man is amazing.

    They should make rerecords of some mainly Epica and The Black Halo tracks, with Tommy Karevik singing. One album only. That would be the greatest possible closure to the band called Kamelot! =) (That, or actually start making awesome songs again if they want to put new material out. :/ In that case Karevik shouldn't sing; I'd prefer he stayed in Seventh Wonder where good music and emotion is guaranteed.) /flamebait

    I HAVE TO HAVE SKYRIM ON MEDIUM. I had to manually change it to allow me to snipe people or they only appeared like up to 10m away. Damnit. Also, I really want the SkyUI mod but downloading all the shit for it didn't work. Y AM I SO BAD AT COMPUTERS. It's like the first game I've bought in 4 years. Hueh.

    I'm waiting 'till this weekend to use it. Our brand new desktop runs Skyrim at full graphics with no fps hit, and the Construction Sets are known for being laggy, they probably wouldn't run on my laptop.

    You have to play farther than the first two missions in Act I :P that and maybe you played a boring class. (If you played the first one, that would explain a lot. I thought the first one was meh). Or maybe it just isn't your thing. And you aren't the only one that dislikes it, I'm sure tons of people do, there are just a few people here who do like it :P
