watmartim tu forma de espesar tus inquietudes musicales es extenso, si embargo mis escasos conocimientos del idioma ingles, me lo pones muy difícil si lo tengo que traducir con un traductor de Internet. Saludos Martin.

Good Gosh ... What personal memories are tagged with this rousing gem ! Mayday '71 in DC and our cell lasted three days of hit-and-run , traffic-snarling guerrilla street strikes . (Oddly , almost all of the folks in their stalled land-barges appeared to be in tolerant agreement with our cause - To shut the city down as a unified protest against the abominable undeclared war in S.E. Asia .) At one point , near our designated target (DuPont Circle) , some very decent sister/brothers' in a G-Town dorm dangled some speakers out of a 4th floor window and blaired "Volunteers" . What then happened , as well as what "didn't happen" -ouch- , served to underscore the duality of the entire movement , sentiment wise . (And yeah , 100 of us were singled-out for 4 1/2 days/nights of torture , something never mentioned anywhere .) Anyway , so many people , myself included , followed the J.A. all the way from "T.S.of Love" to "Got a Revolution" . "Volunteers" - What a GREAT anthem @ 39k feet !

it has been often said, "what happened to the peace/love generations plans for the world?" ....i'll tell ya..we had leaders, the greatest of our generation...Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King, JFK, RFK, John Lennon!.........and what happened?? THEY MURDERED THEM. so if ya think change is easy, think again or stay in bed.......... tune in, turn on and drop out.....get it?

Obama tried to lead a revolution, but the Right stopped him in his tracks.

"all these comments about my generation having to wake up and do something. Maybe we are too busy looking for a job and trying to pay rent/mortgage to worry about trying to change the world. Sorry but your generation had it good - free education, jobs and much more so you had time to change the world." - Don't you see that this is the exact problem. the system is created to minimalise thinking and action time so nobody is either interested, educated about it or they don't have the time. They provide you with training i.e. school, college, force you into employment and place you in a cycle you cannot escape becuase you are continually trying to earn enough money to pay bills and keep your house while not really doing the things you really want to. This isn't just down to one generation or even one set of people. All people of all ages, races, religions and skin colours need to realise that we are ALL people and we must stand by each other and fight for what is right.

I disagree, the last revolution in the US and Europe revolved around the Reagan/Thatcher axis in the 80's. Unfortunately it was a victory for 'them' not 'us', we allowed ourselves to be bought off.
