De son vrai nom, Kamaljeet Singh Jhooti, Jay Sean est un chanteur de R’n’B anglais d’origine indienne.
Ses plus célèbres titres sont « Eyes on you », « Stolen » et « Ride it ».
Il a sorti 2 albums, « Me against myself » en 2004 et revient en 2008 avec un nouveau style pour son album « My own way ».
En 2009, il lance son 1er single américain Down en featuring avec Lil’ Wayne, et, pari réussi, le titre parvient à détroner les Black Eyed Peas de la #1 place aux USA qui y étaient installés depuis 26 semaines consécutives avec Boom Boom Pow & I Gotta Feeling.
Le 2nd single est Do You Remember (feat. Lil Jon & Sean Paul).
Son 3ème album All Or Nothing est prévu pour le 23 Novembre 2009 aux USA, et Février 2010 au Royaume Uni.

There are some new background beats on the old songs. The only ones that are exactly the same are Ride It and Stay. But i do love the album. <3

ARGH!. Out of 14 tracks, 5 are from his old album. thats very weak man! he could have remixed em AT LEAST. "Do You" best track from the album. It's the new "Ride It" :)
