I have the "Soul Jazz" compilation & I want to let everyone know this is not the song on the CD. The song that is on the disc is a previously unreleased track that according to the liner notes was recorded in Cincinatti,Oh in late 1968- early 1969. The musicians on that song are as follows: James Brown-vocals/ Frank Vincent-piano/ Lee Tucker-bass/ Dee Felice-drums. It has a jazzier take to it in comparison to the original.
