Tue 25 Sep – Incubus, Puggy

I started queing at 5 o' clock even though we didn't go in til 6;30. i got to stand at front ^_^. it was quite a long wait as the support band Puggy didn't come on stage until 7:45. they played a nice little set but everyone couldn't wait until Incubusarrived.
So finally, Incubus came on to a massive applaud and everyone started pushing forward. I got completely squashed since as I was at front and someone tipped beer on me lol.

Vie 29 Jun – bilbao live

El vierne pasado habíamos quedado a las 1530h para coger los dos coches que llevarían a las seis personas presente, primero al BEC! y después desde allí al Bilbao BBK Live. Queríamos ver a Biok pero la espera del bus hasta Kobetamendi se alargó y nos perdimos el concierto.

Llegar allí y era entonces cuando actuaba Zico Chain. No les hicimos mucho caso pero se les veían con ganas sobre el soleado escenario.

Después actuaba en un principio Bullet for My Valentine pero tras su cancelación la misma semana del concierto encontraron a Dagoba para sustituirles. No conocía ni a uno ni a otro pero los que ví, me dejaron plasmado con la contundencia con la que tocaban. Una gran sorpresa los vecinos franceses estos.

También nos dieron la mala noticia desde la organización que Incubus no llegaría a su hora y que su actuación…

Thu 28 Jun – Pearl Jam in the Park
Na het concert van de Peppers op 24 juni, was het 4 dagen later alweer tijd voor een nog hoger hoogtepunt: mijn favoriete band stond in Nijmegen! Om 11 was ik zo ongeduldig dat ik mijn vriendin meesleurde naar het park. We waren veel te vroeg, maar we stonden vooraan bij een poortje!

Na ruim 3 uur wachten gingen eindelijk de hekken, 20 minuten te laat, open, en we stormden naar voren. Compleet zinloos, want 2 uur later kon je nog steeds in het voorste vak komen. Na bijna overlopen te zijn in het gedrang om een polsbandje konden we eindelijk even rusten. Satellite Party had toen al opgetreden. Perry Farrell en zijn aanhangsel maakten er een leuke show van, nummers spelend van het enige album dat de band totnutoe voortgebracht heeft: Kinky, Hard Life Easy en natuurlijk Wish Upon a Dog Star kwamen voorbij. Natuurlijk kon Perry Farrell het niet laten ook even de grote hit te spelen van zijn oude band Jane's Addiction: Been Caught Stealing. …

Well, I know it has been a while since I have been on Last.fm... But I'm back, now. :)

Anywho, the Incubus concert that I went to... Amazing. It still feels like such a blur. I was standing there, mere feet from Mike and I felt like I wasn't even there. It was so surreal.

When they came out and I heard the begining of "Quicksand" ... I was overflowing with emotion. I was so happy that I started to get teary. Silly, it may seem to those that don't like them... But they mean THAT much to me. Really.

The downside to the whole thing was the fact that there were so many people there. I didn't even have room to lift my arm up or anything like that... And once "A kiss to send us off" started playing... I thought I was going to suffocate right then and there. I was actually starting to freak out a little because everyone seemed bigger than me... So I started pushing people back as best I could... Just so I could breathe.
