Gave a spin of good old Colony after hearing Sirens Charms. It's ridiculous how good this is comparing to SC. [2]

This album was the beginning of the end for IF. Coerced Coexistence is the only track that manages to somewhat demand my attention (nice chorus), the rest is just one big snooze fest. Jester Race/Subterranean/Whoracle FTFW.

My favorite In Flames album too. But it's not their last great album, come on, "Clayman" is very good too (and I admittedly even like "Reroute to Remain").

They reach their peak with Clayman and then mutate into another pretty good, but weaker alternative metal band.

This is the best album ever made, by any band.

From a rhythmic standpoint this album has a lot of power and drive to it. Of course the guitars are fantastic as well, incredible melodic soloing and riffing but don't get me wrong it can extremely heavy when it wants to be too. The whole thing just has a ton of energy to it, this is probably my favorite IF album but I'm not sure.
