Immolation along with Suffocation play some of the best death metal to come out of the north east USA. Everyone knows the Gothenburg scene and the S. Florida bands, and everyone better know and love Immolation as well. Having seen them live was one of the best shows in recent memory. Their 2007 release Shadows In The Light is one of the best brutal metal albums with having some of the best riffs around. Robert Vigna is definitely one of the best if not best guitar players in the extreme metal arena.
