Haggard est un groupe de Heavy Metal allemand fondé en 1991. Entre Death Metal, musique classique et musique médiévale , ils ont réussi à combiner tradition et modernité d’une manière plutôt magistrale.
Haggard est formé de 15 membres:
- Asis : guitare , chant
- Luz: tambours
- Claudio : guitare
- Michi : violoncelle
- Susanne : soprano
- Stefi : violon alto
- Veronika : soprano
- Hans : piano
- Ivica : violon
- Fiffi : ténor , flute
- Florian : Hautbois
- Judith : violon
- Johannes : violoncelle
- Mark : clarinette
- Michael : percussions
- Dorro : violon

I think "Eppur Si Muove" is awesome, I love it, but I think is not for those that want more metal, I find that is not balanced as symphonic metal, it's more classical and medieval music, I feel is metallic symphonic/classical/medieval music and not symphonic metal (It's not a complain because I love how it is, I just trying to describe it). So if you want balanced symphonic metal, with metal being strong (like Therion), their early works are a best choice.

As for me it is And Thou Shalt Trust The Seer. Some might argue it's Awaking the Centuries. If anyone calls Eppur Si Muove the best symphonic album, I advise you to check whether he has his ears in place. Tales of Ithiria is somewhat better, but still no comparison to their early works.
