Maybe some of you will look back at this album in 10-15 years time and see it differently. I notice that some of you are 15-18 years old and weren't around to see 90's Green Day or even truly experience them :P

There's nothing wrong with this album. The problem is YOU people cannot let go of old Green Day, this is not the 1990's anymore. 21st CB is beautifully arranged, nice lyrics and great Musical pieces. This album is FAR from being a failure as it was named the best Rock album of 2009. I might not like "Know Your Enemy" but if you listen to songs like "Last Night On Earth" it sounds like something that was inspired by John Lennon. This album easily shows Billie Joe is an amazing writer and talented musician.

It's funny how I could tolerate this album a few months ago, now I literally can't even bring myself to listen to one track off the album. If they're going to start releasing albums out like this, they should just break up. It'd be for the best, really.

Foxboro Hottubs > this album. Sad, but true. 21 Century Breakdown turned out to be an even bigger disappointment than Nimrod, which had at least a few decent songs on it. Seems to me like they tried too hard to put out another American Idiot. I hope they learn from it and come back with awesome some soon!
