After having some success on Jamendo Grace Valhalla is working on more music. While doing that she published a b-side album for us waiting fanboy folk. I am just listening into this new b-side album which is full of songs she describes at: touching her heart but for some reason or another not beeing finalised as she wanted in her blog (sorry for my poor understanding of french, but school is a long time over now). I have to say: if this is the b-sides, what are the a-sides like? Grace combines both of her previous albums in some nice flowing sound: lovely electro as it was defined by her.

If you've never heard of Grace Valhalla before and want to try out some new music, may I suggest you try listening to this talented artist's music.

Her new album Wire is her third album to date. If you liked either of her previous albums, psychopathethic and/or PEAK~ you will more than likely love Wire. It's style is reminiscent of a blending of the previous albums styles and reflects the experience she's gained.

I find myself often preferring to sit back and enjoy the detailed and intricate flow of this sometime light, sometimes dark electronic based music, which Grace refers to as belonging to the uniquely Grace Valhalla genre lovely b-side electro ^_^

As before this album is released under the creative commons license, so feel free to download and share. They have been tagged via MusicBrainz and the cover art is both in the files as well as seperate.

You might be saying wtf is that? And what does that have to do with downloading music?

Creative commons licensing/copyright is a means of providing an alternative to the often and increasingly restrictive copyright laws around the world. There are different forms of Creative Commons copyright, but generally is meant to allow a creative work to be freely shared and built upon by others.

For me CC released music got me listening to music again after years of not listening to it at all. I had gotten so tired of buying a CD after hearing a song that I liked only to find that the rest of the tracks on the CD sucked. To this day I only listen to CC licensed music or buy a CD from small independent labels or artist that isn't involved with the big Media Mafia labels who are associated with the RIAA or thier couterparts around the world due to thier bad attitude towards their customers, especially in today's world.
