    Fields (1969 US)... a heavy psych oriented album with blues rock sauce. Emphasis on Elysian Fields... an awesome song.

    damn indies, check the name before starting a band! (2) I never quite understood why there are multiple artists under the same name..i mean if you don't have enough fantasy to pick an original name, imagine how unoriginal your music can be.

    Yes, Everything Last Winter is one of the best albums I ever bought. I was also very surprised to find it from a record store :P It's an album and a band that not so many knows of.

    the fields i listen to are english progressive rock, releasing only one eponymous album in 1971 which is DOPE! dunno who these other guys are? :)

    They were quiet for ages before the split, so it wasn't that much of a surprise... but a damn shame nonetheless! I have a vast collection of their CDs and 7"s, saw them 3 or 4 times and really enjoyed everything they did. Hopefully the 2nd album will appear online (or ideally on CD) via the band at some point.
