Fields of the Nephilim est un groupe de rock gothique britannique formé en 1984 par le chanteur Carl McCoy. Le groupe s’est aussi appelé The Nephilim et Nefilim.

to compare tSoM AND FotN, and, in conclusion, come out with the idea that one is way better than the other is to talk nonsense. basically, McCoy lacks Eldo's capability to bring in elements of goth rock and intellectual and political matters while Eldo is not musically as consistent as McCoy. the fact is that both bands are unique.

Great band. And it's quite brilliant how McCoy has managed to create such a different album as Mourning Sun, with the same quality as their older works. I'd like to see some other bands do that, though IMO FotN is the only band that ever did that trick.
