Best RHCP album. [2] It's such freaking rip off, that you could actually confuse these two.

I agree with fozzi26, but I still find this album almost flawless. Really awesome album, followed up by an even more awesome album known as Angel Dust :D

Its got its moments, and i understand the appeal, but I find Pattons vocals on this album extremely grating every time he goes high pitch. Too squeaky for me. Im glad he changed his style after this and I think it benefits the band greatly, because to me the next 3 albums are all amazing in their own rights. The real Thing and From Out of Nowhere are still great though!

Faith No Mores first 3 albums combine the right amount of rock and funk together, love Mike Pattons voice on this especially in 'From Out Of Nowhere', 'Zombie Eaters' and 'The Real Thing'

This album is totally amazing, but Patton's vocals aren't really aging well, imo. Just felt that way while listening the other day.

After the years I've been an FNM fan, I mostly used to call this my favorite album of theirs. However, during the last 1-2 years I've realized that Angel Dust is so good and maybe even more experimental than this. The most fair thing I can probably say about this is that: The Real Thing is my favorite FNM album during the spring and summer, while Angel Dust is my favorite FNM album during the fall and winter. It's rather a question about mood for me, since the quality of both album makes the fight pretty damn even. They're both my top-2 fave albums of all time ...

@musicgodlything - CAKE is good at everything they do. They're tied for this cover in my opinion.
