Hmm... I'm not sure if this song is really about Final Fantasy. And by 'I'm not sure' I mean, it really isn't. I think the title is really either referring to the real-life chemical which was used in the past as a kind of anaesthetic (causing sleep), and a classical term for the heavens (hence all this talk about 'leaving the ground' and 'floating'). Possibly its about both, falling asleep and soaring through the skies. But the boundaries of what is sleep and what is reality is pretty confusing.
