Earth est un groupe américain de Drone metal formé en 1990 à Olympia dans l’état de Washington par Dylan Carlson, Slim Moon et Greg Babior. Ils furent les pionniers de la forme minimaliste, longue et répétitive du Doom métal connue sous le nom de Drone metal. le groupe s’installa plus tard à Seattle où Carlson lia une amitié forte avec la musique grunge.

@almightyjoey: check out Neil Young's score to the film Dead Man. it's so close, Hex could be an alternate score for the film, I'm serious. other than that, no, nothing sounds that similar.

Are there any more bands that sound like Hex-Earth? I can't find anything like it without going into Western Movie scores or Country music. (Not that there's anything wrong with those).

Hex and Hibernaculum are good but I grew bored of them pretty fast. I still actively listen to the first four albums. I haven't even listened to The Bees... yet. Demo 1990 is pretty good too. By the way kids, fuck Geometry Of Murder. Only Methadrine is true.

yeah, Hex is fucking incredible. I was listening to the Dead Man soundtrack and realized that I needed to hear Hex. Mainly because one of the William Blake quotes is the exact full title of the album...
