Drudkh est un groupe de black metal ukrainien. Mêlant ambiances malsaines et tristes, leur musique est transcendante et planante, on croirait traverser les steppes embrumées de l’est de l’Europe, plongées dans la torpeur hivernale. La musique est originale : à mi-chemin entre l’ambiant et le black, à des chants étouffés répondent de purs morceaux folkloriques. Un groupe dont je recommande tout particulièrement l’écoute ainsi que leurs projets parallèles ou ex-groupes : Hate Forest, Vanhalla, Lucifugum, Astrofaes, Thunderkraft et Lutomysl.

88 Drudkh plays in my library is a sign of their nsbmness. Yeah, Estrangement is quite good. I can't really decide how to rate it in regards to their previous albums, though. Surely different.

I'm rather fond of "Solitary Endless Path" -- that pulsing bassline during the blasting part is fucking sweet.

I agree as well, but Skies at Our Feet is a shining gem on Enstrangement. The rest of the album feels lackluster.
