Diamond Head est un groupe de heavy metal traditionnel britannique des années 80. Ils sont connus pour avoir beaucoup influencé Megadeth et Metallica à leurs débuts, notamment avec les chansons: Am I Evil, Helpless, It’s Electric, The Prince et Sucking My Love que Metallica a repris. Ces 5 chansons figurent sur le premier album Lightning To The Nations, sorti en (1980).

" I think that nwobhm bands were the biggest influence on the development of thrash,aswell as metal pioneers like Black Sabbath or Judas Priest,there is some punk influence yes,but mainly is the nwobhm influence.
