Véritable space-opéra datant de 2000 sur le label Ark Records, Deltron 3030 narre l’aventure des derniers hommes libres réfugiés après l’apocalypse sur une planète devenue hostile et soumise à une dictature fasciste ainsi qu’à des invasions extraterrestres. A chaque rencontre, sa chanson. A chaque personnage du récit, sa structure hip-hop. Le beat très lourd et futuriste rend à la perfection la noirceur du propos tandis que les incendies de production (interludes, récit sur cordes à la Glass) insufflent une dérision cartoonesque qui témoigne de toute l’intelligence des créateurs du projet: MC Del tha funkee homosapiens… , producer Dan the automator, et Kid Koala. On peut noter les présences de Mark Bell (LFO) et Peanut Butter Wolf ou encore Beans. « L’Hymne » 3030 est entièrement construite sur le sample d’un morceau de William Sheller qui apparait sur son premier album, je crois, Lux Aeterna (un chef d’oeuvre!!!).
