Not his best, but come on is not that bad. I love "Loving The Alien", "Blue Jean", "Tumble And Twirl" and the b-side tracks.

Definitely better than Never Let Me Down. Loving The Alien is one of Bowie's greatest. Blue Jean isn't his best but it's certainly the catchiest. The title track is actually kind of enjoyable too... contrary to popular opinion. NLMD has this horrible cheesy production value to it, the only thing worse than a shitty pop effort is a shitty pop-rock crossover effort

In my opinion it's not as bad as everyone says, but still definitely not Bowie's best. Starts out just great with Loving the Alien, and then... well. Neighborhood Threat is the only one that gets *close* to it, the rest just sorta plays in the background, not quite bad, not quite good, just.. there. Tonight is like a little 'accident at work' between two really good albums, Let's Dance and NLMD.

I prefer this to 'Let's Dance'. The singles on 'Let's Dance' are the only songs that appeal to me. 'Tonight' is way more solid. Definitely not his best, but not as bad as people make it out to be.

Loving The Alien is terrific! If only all of Bowie's 80s stuff was of this calibur... taking Scary Monsters out of the equation (its marvelous in its own right), there's one decent classic Bowie album out of the whole 1980s given all the soundtrack appearances. If only Bowie wasn't made an international superstar on a Let's Dance scale and back on the white powder, he'd have made some incredible, credible 80s stuff.

His worst album. Far, far worse than Never Let Me Down. NLMD was poor by Bowie standards, this one was poor by anybody's standards.

Loving the Alien is one of Bowie's greatest songs. But without that song Tonight would be his worst album. The cover version of the Beach Boys classic God Only Knows is the worst thing Bowie has ever recorded.

Neighborhood Threat is SO good! Great lyrics! Iggy's version is nice, but I prefer Bowie's version! =)

It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere, I'm all alone, more or less, Let me fly, far away from here, Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun. I want to lie shipwrecked and comotose, Drinking fresh mango juice, Goldfish shoals nibbling at my toes, Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun.

In agreement with everyone. One of his weakest albums.
