Dave Matthews Band (aussi connu sous l’acronyme DMB) est un groupe américain de rock-folk, originaire de Charlottesville en Virginie.
Le groupe est créé en 1991 par le chanteur et guitariste Dave Matthews, le saxophoniste Leroi Moore, le bassiste Stefan Lessard, le violoncelliste Boyd Tinsley, le batteur Carter Beauford, et le pianiste Peter Griesar (qui quitta le groupe en 1993). Tous les membres du groupe ont rencontré Dave à Charlottesville. Depuis 1998, Butch Taylor joue du clavier dans la plupart des concerts du groupe mais n’est pas officiellement un membre du groupe. Le trompettiste Rashawn Ross les accompagna pour la tournée 2005. Beauford, Moore, Tinsley et Taylor sont aussi chanteurs.
