I actually like this album. Even if it isn't their best one, it doesn't mean it's shit. [2]

The first two tracks at least build towards something, everything else is monotonous.

Can't believe I hated this album at one point... It's just as groovy as Discovery imo, just in a much less poppy way.

I can get the hate this album has but I think it's far from a horrible release by the group. Granted it doesn't hold it's own against Homework or Discovery or even RAM because they're so polished but I think this album does have its own merits. When you consider it took only 6 weeks as opposed to the years of other albums I think it's a decent album. Competent and harshly criticized because of how amazing the previous 2 albums were. It's an entirely different concept and approach to the process. It also has several of my favourite songs on it.

Far from their best, but definitely underrated.

You can't even compare the production between Discovery and RAM to this. It just sounds so cheap in comparison. The others are so much more polished and the tracks flow much better. Hard to imagine this wasn't their first release.

The main reason why I barely like this album is how bad the mastering is (Everything is so loud).

I don't understand why everyone bitches about this album. Main complain I hear is that it's repetitive as hell but that is not a valid complain for a Daft Punk album, especially if you praise the piece of shit that was Homework.

A lot of idiots in this shoutbox who seem threatened by the fact that some people apply critical thinking and analysis to music. The "shut up and enjoy the music!" brigade makes me sick. You bunch of anti-intellectual proto-fascist dicks.

After hearing Random Access Memories and going back to listen to this, I can safely say this is their worst album. By far. [2]
