Control Denied est un groupe de heavy metal crée par Chuck Schuldiner le leader du groupe Death. Ils n’ont jamais fait de tournée car Chuck Schuldiner est rapidement tombé malade ( décédé le 13/12/2001 d’une tumeur au cerveau inopérable). Il avait déjà composé une grande partie du deuxième album. Après sa mort, les autres membres ont envisagé de le finir, sans qu’on en sache plus depuis.

awaitnig for second album..imo vocal sucks but at sound of perseverance sucked as well and by the way it was similiar..music and composiotion are so great that this defend itself..Chuck was..and fuck it..still is and will be forever..a kind of metal pink floyd if u can imagine what i mean..

Even according to the vocalist from TFAoE, Tim Aymar, Warrel Dane was one of at least two singers originally considered for the part. The other was Rob Halford, believe it or not. So far as the lyrics go, I don't consider them boring; they were written by Chuck before he knew he was sick. He really started to lose his health in the middle of recording The Fragile Art of Existence, and considering the lyrics in that way makes them sadly chilling at times. (On a side note, I find it hilarious for a female to say lyrics are "girly".)
